The Wurtsmith Air Museum is an all volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the history of Wurtsmith Air Force Base and aviation in NE Michigan.
Our mission is to preserve New Hampshire aviation history through dynamic and hands-on exhibits and programs. We engage the public through learning opportunities in aviation science and technology. The museum offers a unique cultural experience, that inspires aviation enthusiasm in people of all ages.
The Museum was opened in 2010 to commemorate the sometimes forgotten role of the airfield at Bottisham in World War Two.
The museum is run by the Bottisham Airfield Museum Group who are friendly group determined to honour those who not only served at Bottisham but also those who supported them in the surrounding villages.
The Save the Old NAS Pasco Control Tower organization is a non-profit founded in 2012 by Ms. Malin Bergstrom and several community members. These like-minded citizens joined forces to save and restore this historic building with the goal of preserving history and honoring the Greatest Generation. This important landmark can be saved and will provide a fantastic location for an aviation museum. Join our museum and save this remarkable building for future generations to enjoy and learn from.
