The Oregon air and Space Museum opened in August of 1991. It is dedicated to the acquisition and display of various aircraft and artifacts depicting the history of aviation and space technology for education and enjoyment of the people of Oregon.
The Museum was opened in 2010 to commemorate the sometimes forgotten role of the airfield at Bottisham in World War Two.
The museum is run by the Bottisham Airfield Museum Group who are friendly group determined to honour those who not only served at Bottisham but also those who supported them in the surrounding villages.
The BRISTOL AEROSPACE CENTRE is a new heritage museum and learning centre being planned for Filton, to the north of Bristol. It will tell the story of the region’s world-class aerospace industry – past, present and future. The project is being run by the Bristol Aero Collection Trust.
