With the success of the Mid Atlantic Air Museum‘s sales of their flight simulator models of their Douglas DC-3, B-25 and TBM Avenger, the Commemorative Air Force has commissioned David Eckert (the creator of the Air Museum Network website) to build a flight simulator model of their famous B-29 “FIFI”.
The model will be a paid add-on for Microsoft’s Flight Simulator X and once completed will be as true the real aircraft as possible. The model will feature fully functioning control surfaces, highly detailed interior, full instrumentation, accurate flight dynamics, and more.
David has donated his time and talents to this project in order for the CAF to sell copies of the model to supplement its other fundraiser activities. Watch this site for updates as the project progresses.
