Robert L. “Hoot” Gibson, EAA 219551, is one of four people who will be inducted onto the National Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF) class of 2013 in October 2013. The announcement was made by NAHF Enshrinement Director Ron Kaplan on the 109th anniversary of the Wright brothers’ first flight this past Monday, December 17.
Other 2013 enshrinees are the late Tuskegee Airmen mentor Charles Alfred Anderson, retired U.S. Army veteran Maj. Gen. Patrick H. Brady, and late former Cessna Aircraft Company Chairman and CEO Dwane L. Wallace.
