Wichita, KS — The Kansas Aviation Museum is set to take possession of a Beech 18, with plans to move the aircraft across Wichita next week. The museum said in latest email newsletter on Tuesday that the Beech 18 is currently housed at the Westport Airport in southwest Wichita.

Plans are to move the aircraft across town to the museum, which is adjacent to McConnell Air Force Base in southeast Wichita, on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
The move is expected to begin around 10 a.m. for those wishing to see it trucked across town.
