Smithsonian offers objects for transfer to Museums and Educational Organizations

As part of established practices and policies related to the effective stewardship of our collections, the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum has identified a list of candidate objects which are being made available for transfer to qualified museums and educational organizations. Objects on this list are slated for deaccession from the Museum’s collection and are intended to be permanently transferred to organizations who will maintain them in the public domain.
