CAPE MAY AIRPORT, NJ — Naval Air Station Wildwood (NASW) Aviation Museum recently received financial contributions from several local veterans groups to help support and expand the museum’s education and general programming. The museum will use the funds, in conjunction with NASW’s own financial resources, to continue and further develop the two unique educational summer academies NASW now coordinates. In 2013, the museum provided two full and four partial scholarships to participating students. Additionally, funds will support community outreach programs to home school, scouting, underprivileged youth groups and the museum’s Free Historic Lecture Series.

NASW Foundation is extremely appreciative to the following organizations: American Legion, Stephen C. Ludlam Post 331, North Wildwood VFW Post 5941, Sea Isle City VFW Post 1963, Lt. Charles “Buddy” Lewis VFW Post 5343 and Brigantine Memorial VWF Post 6964. It is through the generous support of these organizations NASW is able to advance and serve an extensive audience.
