This A-20 was moved to the 1941 Historical Aircraft Group Museum in the summer of 2008 and its restoration is now being completed.
Geneseo, NY — THe 1941 Historical Aircraft Group has reached a milestone achievement in re-acquiring the name of the National Warplane Museum. This is a wonderful accomplishment for both the museum and area tourism.

As Western New York’s only hands-on warplane museum that operates with an active runway, and the longest active grass runway in the U.S., this is a tremendous accomplishment and opportunity for the museum, our region and New York State.

Achieving national status will elevate the awareness of the National Warplane Museum’s mission to refurbish, preserve and fly vintage military aircraft, educate the public on the history of these artifacts and draw visitors to our region.
