McMinnville, Oegon USA — It’s not just spaceships and rockets that can reach the stars. It’s determination that fuels us into the horizon — something the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum aims to instill this Saturday at the Reaching for the Stars day dedicated to people with special needs.
The museum will dedicate a full day of activities and learning workshops to serve people of all ages with special needs, whether it’s a physical or mental disability.
“The primary core of the mission of the museum is to inspire and educate, and that’s everybody, not just aviation buffs, but kids and people with special needs,” Larry Wood, Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum director, said. “This event is an opportunity for special needs kids and adults to come to the museum and not feel singled out.
