North Canton, OH — Marauders from across the U.S. descended upon MAPS Museum Oct. 17 to reunite. Those attending the reunion included Army Air Corps members that had been part of the crew of a Marauder air plane, B-26, during WWII and families of those who are part of that Marauder history.

There are only a few of the planes left and one is at the museum.

About 60 people took part in the reunion, attending events around the area and finishing the time at MAPS for a banquet Saturday night.

After touring the museum and getting an up-close look at the Marauder plane on display they had a panel discussion in the library of the facility.

Among those at the reunion were James Pascoe and Ted Kubala. Pascoe was a Marauder tail gunner. His plane was shot down on his 11th bombing mission, April 21, 1944. The pilot of the mission was killed on what was his 14th mission – he was Kubala’s father, Theodore.

The two men were part of the 394th bomb group of the 587th bomb squadron.
