Seattle, WA — The Museum of Flight received a record $30 million Thursday to expand its education programs from serving 1,000 students a year today to 5,000 by 2019.

The donation includes $15 million from the Boeing Company and another $15 million from Bill Boeing, Jr. and his wife June. Boeing Jr. has long been a supporter of the museum and the couple discussed their donation before his death in January.
