The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum (NASM) has announced  April 1-16, 2016 as the proposed dates for the next Mutual Concerns of Air and Space Museums Conference. Plans are for the meeting to be held in the New York City area co-hosted with the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum and Cradle of Aviation Museum.

Call for Proposals

NASM is also seeking input on the meeting agenda. You can go to the Mutual Concerns Webpage to find information on how to submit a proposal, proposal deadlines, and acceptance notification timing. NASM is seeking session proposals on topics or issues relevant to our community of museums and aerospace education centers. The thoughtful and well-rounded proposals we have received in the past have led to very strong agendas that participants have found educational and valuable in their work. MASM appreciates the time and effort put forth to submit proposals. When selecting proposals, the Program Committee will balance the agenda with sessions related to a variety of museum departments as well as small museums and large institutions.

NEW Early Topic Ideas

In addition to the information on how to submit a proposal, you will find that we have added the opportunity for you to offer Early Topic Ideas. If you have an idea you would like to develop with help from the community or you want to propose an idea, this is your section. Please read about how to make these submissions on the Early Topic Idea Page.

Feel free to contact any of the members on the Program or Organizing Committee to discuss your ideas for a topic or proposal.
