Washington Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler has introduced a bill that would transfer Vancouver’s Pearson Air Museum into city ownership.
This is one of several efforts to resolve the spat between the Parks administrators who own the Museum and the non-profit trust charged with running it.
Beutler says the bill is narrowly tailored for a simple transfer of seven acres.
“I would love it if this lit a little bit of a fire, and in the next twenty days they could work this out, and it didn’t take an act of Congress.”
