SEATTLE, March 27, 2013–On April 6 at 2 p.m., world-renowned military and aviation artist Jim Dietz will talk about his paintings depicting World War I air combat. Dietz will share his painting techniques, inspiration and artistic philosophy during this illustrated program. Following the lecture, the artist will sign copies of his new book of World War I art, “Knights in Canvas.” The program is free with admission to the Museum, the book signing is free for all Museum visitors.

 

This program is the beginning of a series of Museum events and presentations on the eve of the 2014 centennial of the start of World War I.
