York, United Kingdom — The first of their monthly “anti-deterioration” aircraft engine runs will take place during the day on Sunday 13th January at the Yorkshire Air Museum. It is planned for the Blackburn Buccaneer jet XN974 and the De Havilland Devon twin prop to be fired up, which is also thrilling for visitors, young and old alike.

Henceforth, these “anti-det” runs are planned to take place on the first Sunday of each month, with those on April, June and August becoming full fledged “Thunder Days”, where as many of our live aircraft as possible will be fired up, so make a note of these for on your calendar.
